The FA cup rounds got over yesterday and Liverpool proved their supremacy over Preston yet again. It was game of quality football as their captain got over his last week charges and netted the decider in the injury time. It was a great moment for all Liverpool fans who were shocked by Gerrard’s charges. However, things looked dull till then as Liverpool struggled to find the rhythm in the first half. Things changed quite quickly and Liverpool managed to clinch it with ease!!!

Evil religion?
Well, there are numerous instances where religion has taken a toll on people. From stampede deaths in temples to unorthodox religious practices, it’s almost that God is the cause of brutality. However, people continue to pour in numbers to temples and churches. Its high time that they realize the fact that its love that rules the world and not God. You need to make sure that you don’t hurt others and that’s all you need to do. Things will pan out automatically and you will not suffer from the pain and brunt of the world. Stop praying. Start helping!!!
War of words
One of the simplest things to do is to hurt people. Hurting people physically is better than hurting them with words. There are numerous instances of such scenarios where the wounds created by words have turned into craters and there is no scope of healing them. Its important that you do not wound others with your sharp words. Stop making caustic statements even to your enemies. Never let your words fly around. You need to think twice before you make a statement. Have a pleasant life. Cheers!!!

Murray on the charge
It’s Andy Murray who has been crowned the player of the year. His recent run of form has earned him this prestigious award and he did deserve it than anyone. Although the year belonged to Nadal, it was Murray who took a giant stride. This was clear from the way he handled Federer, not once but twice. The Brit wants a grand slam badly to make sure he pips Djokovic to become the second best player in the world. He will have to improve his temperament to be anywhere close to the class of Nadal. However, miles to go before it happens!!!

An evil curse
One of the worst social evils still practices in India against the hapless women is the dowry system. Most of the bride burning cases are due to dowry harassment. This dowry system is a curse on Indian women. Marriage which is a sacred institution becomes a mere business proposition due to the dowry system. Dowry system is not just a social evil, but a curse. The greed for dowry is seen in all families, rich or poor, educated or illiterate. The first step in getting rid of this social evil is removing the bias based upon gender and women must be given equal importance to men.
No liberty for girls
Liberty means no restrictions. But that liberty should not interfere in others liberty. Liberty is lost by girls right from their childhood days itself. At present, they are under the custody of parents. Later, they are under the custody of her husband. The life is spoiled and she cannot face even a small accident. The girls depend upon others for everything. But, boys have no restrictions and are free to do anything they like. Girls need to be given basic freedom in order to face the world with courage. The freedom and liberty for girls is very important for the development of the society.

F1 jeopardy
The cost cutting measures in Formula1 is in full force as the F1 supremo is scratching his head over this issue. There is huge possibility that only 16 cars will be racing at the Australian GP next season with several teams pulling out. Honda is the first to do so and it is clear from their current action that they have taken this drastic step unable to meet the soaring prices. Also, there could be several others contemplating to move out of F1. Bernie has shifted his attention to the single engine system to cut down the costs!!!
